GreenCareerBoard is built and run by one person — a naval architect, not a career-industry insider. My day-to-day background is in shipbuilding, working alongside marine and offshore engineers, and that's where the idea came from: so much of that work already overlaps with renewable energy, particularly offshore wind, yet the job market for the wider sector — solar, wind, hydrogen, EV, storage — was scattered across generic job boards where it competed for attention with every other industry.

So this is a dedicated board for it instead. Not built by a renewable-energy veteran claiming decades of sector expertise — built by someone adjacent to it who thought the space deserved a better signal-to-noise ratio, and who reviews every submission personally rather than letting a scraper decide what's worth showing.
